Increasing Access to Treatment for Infectious Diseases for Uninsured and Underinsured Populations

Safety Net Providers play a major role in treating the uninsured and underinsured population requiring treatment for influenza, HIV/AIDs, STDs and other infectious diseases. Finding access to treatment can be a challenge for this often marginalized patient population. This section provides links to resources for clinical professionals such as case studies, publications, tools and clinical guidelines on immunization, hepatitis, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and HIV/AIDS. These tools are designed to help safety net providers meet the needs of their patients.
