More common than both diabetes and heart disease, Thyroid Disease is a chronic issue that directly impacts more than 27 million Americans. About half of those suffering from Thyroid Disease have yet to receive a diagnosis. In addition, women are at a substantially higher risk for developing a thyroid disorder than are men. This section provides links to educational resources for clinical professionals and patients for both the awareness of Thyroid Disease and the management of its care.
